During my recent coffee explorations in Berlin, I decided to visit The Visit, located at Nürnberger Str. 17, 10789 Berlin, Germany. As someone who’s always on the lookout for unique coffee experiences, I had high expectations. However, the visit left me wondering if I should have headed to their main spot at Goltzstraße 39, 10781 Berlin, Germany instead.
A Unique Find: The Black Vegan Croissant
One aspect that stood out was their unique black vegan croissant. It’s not every day you come across such an intriguing pastry, and I must say, it was a delightful surprise. The combination of vegan ingredients and the unusual color made it a memorable part of my visit.

The Coffee: Solid
In Berlin, I felt it’s a competitive market, especially for specialty coffee. I felt like The Visit’s Coffee at this location was good overall.
Seating: A Letdown
However, the seating at this location was a bit of a letdown for me. Comfort is key, especially when you’re settling in for a good cup of coffee and a tasty treat. Unfortunately, the seating was uncomfortable enough that I found myself finishing my coffee and croissant quicker than I would have liked.
The Visit’s Online Presence
For those interested in exploring more about The Visit, I recommend checking out their Instagram. It’s a great way to get a feel for their vibe, offerings, and perhaps what to expect at their different locations.
Context and Philosophy
The Visit prides itself on being a specialty coffee roastery inspired by Berlin’s vibrant energy. Their dedication to quality and creating a relationship between people and specialty coffee is commendable. With a mission to provide an exceptional coffee experience for everyone, they carefully select their green beans and use advanced roasting techniques to bring out the best flavors.
Final Thoughts
While my experience at The Visit’s Nürnberger Str. location was just okay, it hasn’t deterred me from wanting to explore their other locations. Their commitment to quality coffee and unique offerings like the black vegan croissant are reasons enough to give them another try. I think that perhaps a visit to their main spot in Goltzstraße will offer the comfortable and enjoyable coffee experience I was looking for. I’m excited to visit in the future! I would encourage anyone in the neighborhood of this location to at least swing by for a drink.
